OISE/UT has released its 16th survey of public attitudes towards education, which has been published biennially since 1978. Among the main findings are that public satisfaction with schools is increasing its upward trend since low levels between 1998 and 2002. Also noteworthy is the finding that an overwhelming majority favour increased funding for education in Ontario, and many of them are willing to pay higher taxes to support an increase in spending.
