Beginning
next year, Uzbekistan’s education system will be a bit different. Ninth
form students in Tashkent and some other regions will no longer attend
normal schools, instead being moved into either academic lyceums or
vocational colleges for their final three years of school. (Lyceums
already included a twelfth year, but this is new for students in the
vocational schools.)
